First Work Related Story

Yay my first work related story...that took place on Tuesday lol.
Anyway I was working on getting the Bacon and Sasuage pizza's done when this guy comes up and ask if the other pizza in the warmer was cherry (Dessert Pizza, new) and I said yeah, then what I found really funny was that his next words were "Is the real pizza's done yet" lol

Idiot

Hahaha do I feel like such an Idiot this morning. I woke up at the usual time, got into the shower, dressed, and then waited a little bit before going into work today...turns out that today was not a day I go into work for once...just used to working on Sundays and today I don't. I did leave them a note in case they check the security cameras as to why I was there, and I did help out a little bit before Tim came to pick me back up, which mainly was just counting all the Stale Donuts and Muffins etc...

Chinese Hells

After hanging out with Tekia on Sunday, I woke up on Monday morning just incredibly itchy all over my legs and a few spots on my arms. What happened was that we where hanging out outside the whole time, and I couldn't really feel it at all, but I was just swarmed by Mosquitoes and have about 9 spots on my right leg, 6-7 on my left, 3 spots on my right arm, and 2 on my left. I feel right now like if I am in one of those multitude of Chinese Hells where you are being swarmed by Mosquitoes and then after all the bumps form someone comes and agitates them by scratching for a while, and then tie you down and left to feel them as you can't relieve the itchyness by even a little.
Edit: To those who like Hetalia, there is in the works for a Live Action Hetalia Movie.
Also the creator of Crayon Shin-Chan was found dead after missing for a week.

Truck Day

It started off not being that bad of a time, but once everything was unloaded from the truck, put into the retrospective spots, then it was a pretty tough time. First I helped out the new hirer that came before me sometime time ago with putting the frozen foods into the freezer, and then helped put the normal general store foods away, but then when it came to putting the stuff that goes into the kitchen, then that was a pain to move, especially all that flour for the pizza and donuts. Oh am I so worn out right now.

Extremely sleepy

Well, so far I have stayed up for about 20-21 hours now, not sure why I haven't fallen asleep yet, but probably will try too as soon as I am done posting this message. I would of taken a little nap after talking with Tekia today, but I ended up distracting myself from getting to sleep, so i'm still up. This is not the first time I stayed up so late, the first time was when me and a few friends where staying over at another friends house, and stayed up all night playing rpg's. By the time I got picked up, it was almost noon the next day. Got home and passed out and slept until nearly the evening.

First Day

Well had my first day of my new job today, it wasn't that bad really, for a bit of the time just had to sit in the back room listening to the rules of the store, then for the rest of the time standing around up in the front filling out paperwork on the computer. While I'm clocked in I get free Fountain Drinks, and half off of the hot food.
Tomorrow I go in starting at 4 in the morning till around 8ish.
Sunday I have the day off.
Monday I go in from 11-2ish to help unload trucks.
Tuesday I have off.
Weds&Thursday I go in from 4-8.

Last day of FREEDOM

Before I start my first job ever lol.
Blah not sure what to do for today really.
Also I ended up getting myself into another game that plays daily...but mostly leveling up the character so I can get an item for the sequel to the game, Billy vs Snakeman.
Edit: Well to pass the time, I have started up a game of Zombie Ate My Neighbors and I am going to Attempt to sit down and play thru the whole game and finally beat it.

I still need to get my hands on a few other ones before I will have them all up to date on the released books. As of now all I need is I think about 5-6 books left to get.

Dream

Sometime before I woke up this morning, I had this dream I can't really describe what it was like.
First I was standing in this grassy square surrounded by ancient walls, a tree in the middle that if you looked up would go on forever, and then to the north was this flight of stairs that lead up to this Ancient Mayanish temple. As I was heading towards the temple there was this girl holding her infant son about to be attacked by 3 guys. So I rush to her side, fended them off, and was thanked for it. She told me to follow her inside and gave me this small golden plate with these two strings attached that if done properly was used to make the plate spin up and down like a yoyo. So inside we were talking, and she tells me to wait as she heads into this door which leads to a bathroom/shower. Still talking to her she brings up that she tells me that people should sleep around for a while until they are ready to finally get married. She steps out in this incredibly beautiful dress and tells me to follow her up to the temple inside. Inside is a bunch of what looked like half jewish/Indian people. At this time her kid was taken from her to get prepared for some ceremony or something. So I was invited to attend. After sitting in the temple everyone gathered up and we all headed out the door to the north. After following her down this hallway a few more guys tried to attack her, and once again I helped defend her. After finally getting outside the lines seperated into three lines. One was the girls, another was for the guys, and the third was for the people already taken the ceremony. So I followed her into the third line and as we are walking it starts to suddenly rain. She pulls out an umbrella along with everyone else, and I am without one, but I am suddenly wearing my hat along with my jean jacket that has a hoodie. We continue to walk, take a flight of stairs down and the path leads between two of the walls. After further walking we enter the clearing which leads right back to the start of my dream. She tells me to walk back up the steps and put the golden plate to the side of the door. I do so and suddenly everyone is gone and I am back standing in the middle of the grassy square with the tree. This time around is this Orangutan who motions for me to follow it. So it climbs up the tree and heads back towards the temple. I do so, but instead of getting up to the second branch, I bring down the first one, and start swinging it around like it was a giant club before throwing it off to the side. Taking a few steps towards the temple again I look down and see a watch. I pick up the watch and go around setting it to the current time. I then head into the temple which for some reason inside turns into a 50's Diner. I am motioned to come and sit down in this small group where we are talking and I look at the watch again and sees that it's off time again. I go back to fixing it when I wake up. I looked at my clock next to my bed and it was the exact same time as on the watch.

District 9

To anybody else who reads this journal, you need to go out and see this movie. It is one of the better movies to have come out this year. Do not wait until pay-per-view or DVD, do not download the movie, you need to see this in theaters.

More Song Lyrics

Well after listening to the Tru Blood theme song again, I have now have that been playing for a little while in my head, also went and searched for more music and found a few songs. Posting two songs "Bad Things" and "Little Less Lonely"

"Little Less Lonely"

Hey, what ‘cha doin’ tonight?
What about if I stop by?
We could watch a little movie,
Make a little mem’ry.
Baby, wouldn’t that be nice?
If I make you and you make me
Oh, just a little less lonely.

Uh, huh.

Now, we could dress up to the nines,
Blue jeans would suit me fine.
You know we’ve always been good friends,
That’ll never have to end,
Even if we cross that line.
And I’ll make you and you’ll make me,
Oh, just a little less lonely.

Hey baby, why don’t we give it a try?
Yeah, ‘cuz I think you’ll like what I’ve got in mind.
Yeah…..yeah.

Whoo!

Now we can talk, all night long.
Dance to your favorite song.
If you got a little crazy,
You know it wouldn’t faze me,
‘Cuz baby there ain’t nothing wrong,
If I make you and you make me,
Mmmm, just a little less lonely.
Wouldn’t it be nice to be,
Oh, just a little less lonely?
Uh, huh.

Just a little less lonely. (A little less lonely, less lonely)
Just a little less lonely. (A little less lonely, less lonely)
(continues)

"Bad Things"

I wanna do bad things with you.

When you came in the air went out.
And every shadow filled up with doubt.
I don't know who you think you are,
But before the night is through,
I wanna do bad things with you.

I'm the kind to sit up in his room.
Heart sick an' eyes filled up with blue.
I don't know what you've done to me,
But I know this much is true:
I wanna do bad things with you.

When you came in the air went out.
And all those shadows there are filled up with doubt.
I don't know who you think you are,
But before the night is through,
I wanna do bad things with you.
I wanna do real bad things with you.
Ow, ooh.

I don't know what you've done to me,
But I know this much is true:
I wanna do bad things with you.
I wanna do real bad things with you.

Ok a third song

"Everything You Want"

Somewhere there's speaking
It's already coming in
Oh and it's rising at the back of your mind
You never could get it
Unless you were fed it
Now you're here and you don't know why

But under skinned knees and the skid marks
Past the places where you used to learn
You howl and listen
Listen and wait for the
Echoes of angels who won't return

[Chorus]
He's everything you want
He's everything you need
He's everything inside of you
That you wish you could be
He says all the right things
At exactly the right time
But he means nothing to you
And you don't know why

You're waiting for someone
To put you together
You're waiting for someone to push you away
There's always another wound to discover
There's always something more you wish he'd say

[Chorus]

But you'll just sit tight
And watch it unwind
It's only what you're asking for
And you'll be just fine
With all of your time
It's only what you're waiting for

Out of the island
Into the highway
Past the places where you might have turned
You never did notice
But you still hide away
The anger of angels who won't return

[Chorus]
I am everything you want
I am everything you need
I am everything inside of you
That you wish you could be
I say all the right things
At exactly the right time
But I mean nothing to you and I don't know why
And I don't know why
Why
I don't know

Got back from the Mall today, and I picked up for about $8 Grimm's Fairy Tales. Finally picked up that book, tho I did want the $20 Hard Bound one, but oh well. And the one that I am excited about picking up which cost me $12 was volume 3 of Return to Labyrinth.

bah song lyrics that get stuck in your head

I was currently watching this walk through for Resident Evil 1 Directors Cut for Jill's side and there was a line the person who was doing the review mentioned how Jill's but kind of hangs out from the rest of her body, so ever since then (about 40ish Mins's ago) all I have had playing in my head is "Whats you gonna to do with all that junk, all that junk inside that trunk."

Sick

Blah not feeling well. Yesterday woke up with a sore throat which eventually near the night I have been having a major stuffed nose, and then today still have the same sick symptoms and this time with a light fever.
Edit: Last night/this morning. Gah it was horrible. Throw up 3 times, once every hour. I guess the good thing from it is that my throat at this moment doesn't hurt right now that much, and mostly I just have this cough and getting this crap out of my throat.

Player Types

While looking in my 4th Edition DM's book I stumbled upon an little article talking about different player types. So I will post them up here. These could also be used for really any games for what kind of players you have.

ACTOR
The actor likes to pretend to be her character. She emphasizes character development that has nothing to do with the numbers and powers, trying to make her character seem to be a real person in the fantasy world. She enjoys interacting with the rest of the group, with characters and monsters in the game world, and with the fantasy world in general by speaking "in character" and describing her character's actions in first person. The actor values narrative game elements over mechanical ones. Unlike the storyteller, she values her character's personality and motivations over other story elements.
AN ACTOR...
  • Provides PC background, emphasizing personality.
  • Players according to her character's motivations.
  • Prefers scenes where she can portray her character.
  • Often prefers social encounters to fights.
ENGAGE THE ACTOR BY...
  • Facilitating her PC's personality and background development.
  • Providing roleplaying encounters.
  • Emphasizing her character's personality at times.
  • Recruiting her to help create narrative campaign elements.
BE SURE THAT THE ACTOR DOESN'T....
  • Bore the other players by talking to everyone and everything.
  • Justify disruptive actions as being "in character."

EXPLORER
An explorer loves to see new places in the fantasy world and to meet the residents of such places, fair and foul. All the explorer needs is the promise of an interesting locale or different culture, and off he goes to see that place. The explorer wants to experience the wonders the game world has to offer. He also wants to know that there's more out there to find. He presses for details; proper names of characters and places, descriptions of the environments, and some idea of what's over the next hill. He's sometimes interested in the adventure plot and his character's motivations. (The explorer is close kin to both the actor and the storyteller.) The wonder of new discoveries is what is key to keeping the explorer happy.
AN EXPLORER...
  • Seeks out new experiences in the game's setting.
  • Likes learning hidden facts and locating lost items and places.
  • Enjoys atmosphere as much as combat and story.
  • Advances the plot by being willing to move ever on.
ENGAGE THE EXPLORER BY...
  • Including encounter elements that call for exploration.
  • Rewarding curiosity and willingness to explorer.
  • Providing rich descriptions, and using cool maps and props.
  • Recruiting him to map for the party.
BE SURE THAT THE EXPLORER DOESN'T
  • Use knowledge of the game world to his own advantage.
  • Bore the other players or exhaust you with his thirst for detail.

INSTIGATOR
An Instigator enjoys making things happen. She has no patience for careful planning or deliberation. She'll open an obvious trapped chest "just to see what happens." She provokes authority figures and opens dungeon doors to bring in more monsters into an already difficult fight. The instigator loves the vicarious thrill of taking enormous risks and sometimes just making bad choices. The instigator can be disruptive, but she can also be a lot of fun for the other players. Things rarely grind to a halt with an instigator in the group, and the stories that get retold after the game session often revolve around whatever crazy thing the instigator did this week.
AN INSTIGATOR...
  • Likes to make things happen.
  • Takes crazy risks and makes deliberately bad choices.
  • Thrives in combat and dislikes having nothing to do.
  • Takes decisive action when things grind to a halt.
ENGAGE THE INSTIGATOR BY...
  • Including objects and encounters that invite experimentation.
  • Letting her actions put the characters in a tight spot but not kill them all.
  • Including encounters with nonplayer characters who are as feisty as she is.
BE SURE THAT THE INSTIGATOR DOESN'T...
  • Get the rest of the group killed.
  • Attack the other PC's or their allies.

POWER GAMER
A power gamer thrives on gaining levels and loves the cool ablities that come with those levels. He defeats monsters to take their stuff and use that stuff against future enemies. The story and roleplaying are secondary to action and awesome ablities and magic items. Most players have a little power gamer in them. A couple of core elements of fun in the D&D game are the accumulation of power and the use of that power to accomplish astonishing deeds. Nothing is wrong with the enjoying that in the game.
A POWER GAMER...
  • Optimizes character attributes for combat performance.
  • Pores over supplements for better character options.
  • Spends less time on story and roleplaying elements.
  • Prefers combat to other kinds of encounters.
ENGAGE THE POWER GAMER...
  • Stressing story element rewards, such as quest XP.
  • Using a desired magic item as an adventure hook.
  • Facilitating access to new options and powers.
  • Including encounters that emphasize his PC's attributes.
BE SURE THAT THE POWER GAMER DOESN'T...
  • Become a lot more powerful than the other characters.
  • Try and take more than his share of treasure.
  • Treat the other characters as his lackeys.

SLAYER

The slayer is like the power gamer, but she is even easier to please. She emphasizes kicking the tar out of monsters. Maybe she does so to let off a little steam in a safe way, or she likes the joy of feeling superior. Perhaps it's the pleasure of having the power to mete out punishment to villains. D&D combat is thrilling. Few other aspects of the game put a character in such a apparent jeopardy. Beating the bad guys is a clear success. Most players enjoy these D&D elements, but the slayer seeks them foremost.
A SLAYER...
  • Optimizes like a power gamer.
  • Might pick simple options to get into the action quicker.
  • Spends less time on story and roleplaying elements.
  • Wants to fight monsters and take bold action all the time.
ENGAGE A SLAYER BY...
  • Sprining an unexpected battle when the slayer looks bored.
  • Making some battles simple and others more complex.
  • Vividly describing the havoc the slayer wreaks with powers.
  • Recruiting her to track initave during combat.
BE SURE THAT THE SLAYER DOESN'T...
  • Ruin adventures by killing monsters the characters should talk to.
  • Rush past social and skill challenge encounters to the next fight.

STORYTELLER
The storyteller is a player who prefers the narrative of the game to individual character motivations and personality. This player sees the game as an ongoing chronical of events in the fantasy world, and he wants to see where the tale goes. For storyteller, the rules are there to support the game's ongoing story. He believes that when the rules get in the way, the narrative should win. Compromise for the sake of the story is more important than individual character motivations.
A STORYTELLER...
  • Often provides an extensive background for his PC.
  • Works hard to make sure his character fits the story.
  • Likes dramatic scenes and recurring characters.
  • Prefers adventures that include at least some plot.
ENGAGE THE STORYTELLER BY...
  • Facilitating his PC's background development.
  • Using his background to help define adventures and nonplayer characters.
  • Including at least a little plot in every adventure.
  • Recruiting him to record important events and encounters.
BE SURE THAT THE STORYTELLER DOESN'T...
  • Insist on making his character the center of the story.
  • Dictate other characters' actions to fit his idea of the story.

THINKER
A thinker likes to make careful choices, reflecting on challenges and the best way to overcome them. She also enjoys herself most when her planning results in success with minimal risk and use of resources. Solving a challenge in a creative way is more important to the thinker than character power or roleplaying issues. In fact, the thinker might prefer sound tactics to acting in character or straightforward, brute force battle.
A THINKER...
  • Engages any challenge as a puzzle to be solved.
  • Chooses her actions carefully for the best possible result.
  • Is happy to win without action, drama, or tension.
  • Prefers time to consider options over bold action.
ENGAGE THE THINKER BY...
  • Including encounters that require problem-solving skills.
  • Rewarding planning and tactics with in-game benefits.
  • Occasionally allowing a smart plan to cause a one-sided win.
  • Recruiting her to help come up with quest.
BE SURE THAT THE THINKER DOESN'T...
  • Constantly tell the other players what to do.
  • Grind the game to a halt when considering tactical options.

WATCHER
A watcher is a casual player who comes to the game because he wants to be part of the social event. A watcher might be shy or just really laid back. He wants to participate, but he doesn't really care if he's deeply immersed, and he doesn't want to be assertive or too involved in the details of the game, rules, or story. He enjoys the game by being part of a social circle.
A WATCHER...
  • Shows up to be a part of the group.
  • Helps calm disputes by not being as attached to the game.
  • Often fills a hole in the PC group, facilitating the fun.
ENGAGE THE WATCHER BY...
  • Never forcing him to be more involved than he wants.
  • Accepting that he's fine with his watcher status.
  • Prompting him when he needs it.
BE SURE THAT THE WATCHER DOESN'T...
  • Distract the other players with TV, a video game, or surfing the internet.
  • Diappear from the table at crucial moments.

Current Song

Here is the current song I have been listening to lately all thanks to the Anime Mushi-Shi.

The sore feet song.

I walked ten thousand miles, ten thousand miles to see you,
And every gasp of breath i grabbed at just to find you,
I climbed up every hills to get, to you,
I wondered ancient lands to hold, just you.

And every single step of the way, of pain,
Every single night and day,
I searched for you.
Through sandstorms and hazy dawns i reached for you.

I stole ten thousand pounds, ten thousand pounds to see you,
I robbed convenient stores coz i thought they'd make it easier.
I lived off rats and toads, and i starved for you.
I fought off giants bears and i killed them too.

And every single step of the way, of pain,
Every single night and day,
I searched for you.
Through sandstorms and hazy dawns i reached for you.
I'm tired and i'm weak, but i'm strong for you.
I wanna go home, but my love gets me through.

Lalala....

Dies from laughter

Hahahaha *repeat 4 billion times*

I was watching this movie called The Gamers 2: Dorkness Rising and omg there is a scene were the characters are sitting around this campfire and one of the players write something down and passes the note to the GM, and so a couple of second's later the Roasted Turkey that is being cooked on the fire glows for a second then comes to life and starts gobbling which sends the characters flying back 10 feet in surprise lol. Then near the end of the scene the Bard is standing alone and the turkey is hiding behind the tree and then lunges at the Bard killing him lol.

Besides that I found out that the sequel to Final Fantasy IV that is originally on Cellphones in Japan is coming to the WiiWare service with upgraded graphics and such, soooooo happy to finally be able to play it.
